Chapter 4. The properties.
¡°It¡¯s a perfect start for today¡¯s mission I suppose.¡± Tsuchi looks at Lan and smiled, ¡°Let¡¯s get on with the new data from the entity world first. And I suppose Lan has recovered from the injury and is able to continue working.¡±
¡°Come on Tsuchi, Lan had just recovered!¡± Bo protested.
¡°It¡¯s OK Bo, I¡¯m absolutely OK now, don¡¯t worry.¡± Lan Smiled at Bo and said, ¡°But I need to ask you guys a favour first, I need to know about exactly what we need to know and do, since I still didn¡¯t know anything about this world yet.¡±
¡°What? I though you had fully recovered!¡± Ki was shocked, and he was not the only one. Everybody looked at Lan with their eyes wide open, and terrified looks appeared on their face.
¡°I¡¯m not the original Lan you knew about, but I¡¯m not going to explain anything to you at the moment, since I didn¡¯t know much of it myself.¡± Lan paused and looked around at them, and said, ¡°I need found out about the truth, it¡¯ll take time, but I will work it out. Then I shall tell you everything which concerns me. And before that, I¡¯ll do my best to be the Guardian of Wind, that¡¯s why I need the information about everything that you know about. Would you help me with that?¡±
The five of them looked at each other and nodded.
¡°We believe in you.¡± Said Jean and Yan.
¡°Yes we do.¡± Said Ki and Bo.
¡°So the plan is changed: you shall stay, and learn about our world.¡± Tsuchi said to Lan, ¡°And in the mean time, the rest of us shall take a look at the entity world. But before that I¡¯ll send you off to the library first, please follow me.¡±
Tsuchi took Lan to the Library while Ki, Bo and Jean walking towards the entrance of the hall, to wait for Tsuchi.
Tsuchi lead Lan to the centre of the hall where the circle was, and like the previous day, the halo had traveled them upwards. After about a few seconds, they stopped. Lan looked around and found out that he was on a completely different floor as where he rested last night. It looked just normal to Lan since it was a square hall, but strangely it was empty.
¡°Please follow me and take a seat.¡± Tsuchi left the halo and said.
¡°But where¡¡± Lan couldn¡¯t see a seat anywhere, but just before he could finish his question, he saw a sofa appeared just beside where Tsuchi stands. Lan walked towards to sofa and sat down.
¡°I know this may be quite unfamiliar to you, but you¡¯ll get use to it.¡± Tsuchi explained, ¡°This is the second floor of the Base Castle, and it is where the library is.¡± Tsuchi waved his hand and a small light ball popped out from thin air. No it was not a light ball, it was a fairy, there was light surrounding it. ¡°This is the book fairy Sue, she¡¯ll be your guide from now on. I¡¯ll leave you to her, and see you after sunset.¡± Tsuchi waved and disappeared in the halo.
¡°Hello, master Lan, what can I do for you?¡± Sue bowed.
¡°Hi Sue, please just call me Lan, I¡¯m not used to be called 'Master' you know.¡± Lan smiled uncomfortably towards Sue, who looked shocked but happy. ¡°Um, well, I know it sounds strange to say that I¡¯m not the Lan you used to know.¡±
¡°Yes sir, I have already heard about that.¡± Sue bowed again.
¡°That¡¯s good, so you probably know that I need to start from zero for everything.¡± Lan leaned towards a little bit, ¡°I need to know everything from what is the entity world, the enemies, the elementary vigours and things like that. Can you help me?¡±
¡°Of course sir, it is my duty and pleasure to offer you what you want to know, but my power does not lie beyond these walls, so I can not offer you what is beyond the library.¡± Sue bowed and drew her wand. She waved it as she danced in front of Lan. Suddenly, light beams shot out from her wand and formed a big screen in front of Lan, and a wand lied on a table which had just appeared beside him. Slowly Sue stopped her dance and bowed towards Lan again and asked, ¡°Dear sir, there are two ways of reading you can consider: first is trough me,¡± Sue pointed at the wand, ¡°What you need to do is wave it and say: ¡®Come Sue! Be my guide!¡¯, then I shall at your command to find what ever you want. Second is by yourself trough this screen.¡± Sue tabbed her wand at the screen, it suddenly turned on and showed the circular symbol which Lan had seen on the entrance gate of Base Castle when he entered the previous day. ¡°You can see all sorts of options when you use the wand to tab on it, then you are able to find all sorts of resources you want to know.¡± Sue stood straight and asked, ¡°Which option do you want to choose sir?¡±
¡°This is very interesting! I would love to try option two, but since I want to start learning the basics straight away, so I¡¯ll need your help to get what I wanted, is that OK?¡± Lan turned towards Sue and said. It seems as if Sue is too happy that she¡¯s going to cry, but she smiled and bowed again to Lan and said, ¡°It would be my pleasure to be your guide.¡±
¡°OK, so I need to know every basic about this world and us, could you find that kind of book for me?¡± Lan asked.
¡°Of course sir.¡± Sue waved her wand, so that the big screen and wand had disappeared, she waved the wand again, a book appeared on the table where the wand used to lie on. ¡°Please help yourself.¡±
Lan turned and fetch the book, when he touched the over of it, the whole room turned black, he could see nothing except himself. Then, there was something appeared in front of him, it turned bigger and bigger, suddenly, it exploded and light emitted from the explosion which had lighten up the surroundings. Then the light died down, fragments of what went exploded start to gather around each other, at last billions of galaxies had been formed. Lan stands in the space and was amazed by what had just happened in front of him, he had just watched the Big Bang in front of his own eyes. With out a warning, he started to drop from where he was to the galaxy below. He kept on going, until a blue planet appeared in front of him¡ª the Earth. He sank into the aerosphere of the earth, suddenly the Nature Kingdom appeared in front of him.
